Viewing the trailer for this movie makes me want to read the book that this trailer is based on, and see the movie when it comes out (of course). Its not easy being female, we have had to endure many hardships over the ages. From foot binding to being seen as second class citizens and only gaining the right to vote fairly recently (1920’s). One of my own personal injustices occurs each time I visit India. I have to be covered, practically from head to toe, in sweltering 100+ degree weather. Since where I travel to in India considers females who expose too much skin to be indecent (really are my bare calves all that enticing?). This all occurs while every other male in a 2 mile radius is bare chested running around in knickers. Still, I do love being a woman since we do have some major perks. For instance, chocolate usually makes it all better, crying will get you out of a speeding ticket, when you get nasty people just assume that it’s that time of the month, lastly we have make-up so even if you aren’t that cute you can kind of fake it.
